One to watch: Unzipped by Isaac Mizrahi, one of the most successful fashion designers out there, plans his 1994 collection.  Some of his inspiration is focused around the Eskimo.  Seriously has to be watched.  It is quite long, but does come in parts on youtube, or you can rent it.  This video really gives you an insight into the world of fashion and a look at the behind the scenes crafts of a talented man.  Here is part one, but if you seek you shall find..on youtube.

The reason why i looked into this was also for our dissertation we are currently writing (my tutor told me to have a look at this in class today)...well really it should be finished by now!  Its a 7000 word thesis on a topic of interest which relates to our collection in some form: my topic is why we dress the way we dress: looking at the inuit culture.  Has provided great interest so far, and im sure it will continue to inspire me for my collection.
